1
Day 2 Part Course with ICC exam for those IWAI members with an interest to
travel on European Waterways Course places available on first come first
served bases, for information on upcoming courses call Paul 086 8217712.
1st
Part
Helmsman Cert which is an on the water driving test, this is a
direct assessment, not a lesson, and a minimum of one years
boating experience is required.
2nd
Part
CEVNI
European Waterway Rules, this is a written test. Before the
candidates take this test there will be a talk on CEVNI with some
sample questions to give a feel for what to expect. At least a week
before the course date candidates will receive a course pack
including CEVNI Rules, ISA /IWAI Helmsman Logbook, and some course
notes.
If
you have already achieved the Helmsman Cert then you need only
attend the afternoon session.
